Koto Brawa, a gifted Burkinabé drummer, singer, and percussionist, seamlessly fuses traditional African rhythms from his Dagara heritage with contemporary sounds like funk, blues, jazz, and electro. His latest single, “Naamu,” is a creative blend of West African acoustic instruments with Asian and electric elements, highlighting his skill in merging traditional African beats with modern influences.
Having made a name for himself since 1995 in Burkina Faso, Brawa has worked with various artists, including Sally Nyolo, Gasandji, Yapa, Ryoko Nuruki, and Andra Kouyaté.
