World-renowned Roots-reggae musician Julian Marley recently released the official video for “Don’t Ruin My World” in conjunction with the UN’s launch of the World Restoration Flagships Programs.
The song is a plea for a sustainable world for upcoming generations. The tune was commissioned by Everland, a company that represents forest preservation projects worldwide which are based on communities and focused on wildlife, where local owners and communities are actively engaged in protecting their forests for their own advantage.
As Julian Marley commented, “I wrote this song for Everland to spread the message about the pressing requirement to protect nature and life on the planet. It is a song of praise to amplify the voices of the youth who are worried about the climate crisis and are summoning those in power to do the right thing to save their future before it is too late.”
