​DJ Farrapo, a Bologna-based DJ, musician, and producer, has joined forces with vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Yanez Servadei to release their latest single, “Beleza Se Vai.” This collaboration comes over a decade after their previous joint project, “Alien Na Favela.” 

“Beleza Se Vai” is presented in two distinct versions, both preserving an acoustic essence. The first is a lively samba enredo, capturing the vibrant energy of Brazil’s carnival spirit. The second is a more nuanced arrangement, blending elements of bossa nova and samba jazz to create a delicate and introspective soundscape. ​

The lyrics offer a poetic reflection on the passage of time and the ephemeral nature of beauty, suggesting that as beauty fades, it makes way for deeper, more enduring qualities. ​

Following this single, DJ Farrapo and Yanez Servadei plan to release an EP featuring various electronic versions aimed at the dancefloor, promising to further explore and innovate within the samba genre. ​
