Leo Neelands, known as DEFSET, is a producer, DJ and musician making waves in the dynamic London electronic music scene. His style skilfully marries dub, ambient, and techno with the pulsating energy of early acid house and jungle. His latest work, Ok, Accept, Continue,’ created between 2022 and 2023, captures his personal journey through “struggle, recovery and hope.”

This album stands out, especially through his collaborations with MC Spyda and Jally Kebba Susso, whose kora playing enriches the single “Kombu”. Their joint effort brings a warm, human touch to the music, mirroring the emotional landscape of recovery and hope.

The blend of electronic beats and traditional West African sounds in “Kombu” introduces a brighter, more hopeful phase in the album, reflecting DEFSET’s transformative journey through loss.
