Cruzloma‘s debut EP Mitos & Ritos, released by ZZK Records, explores the traditional Ecuadorian music through a contemporary lens. This project reflects a societal return to roots and a critique of natural resource exploitation.

The EP blends traditional Afro-Ecuadorian rhythms like bambuco and bomba del chota with modern genres such as electronica and dembow, incorporating indigenous ceremonial elements.

The first single extracted from the EP, ‘Ofrenda,’ features a music video produced by BlueJazmi, filmed in Catamarca, Argentina.
