“Alpha & Omega” is the title track from Arp Frique & The Perpetual Singers’ brand-new four-song Alpha & Omega EP, released on 6 February via Colorful World. The Amsterdam-based project led by Dutch multi-instrumentalist Niels Nieuborg, who records as Arp Frique, follows the March 2025 gospel funk album The Gospel Of Jesamy with a shorter set of studio recordings built around the same choir line-up.
The track, features two American singers now based in Europe. Rocq-E Harrell, born in LA, has sung studio sessions for Stevie Wonder, Patti LaBelle and Earth, Wind & Fire and toured with Diana Ross and Barry White. Brandon Delagraentiss grew up in a Black American church family in Texas, son of a bishop and a missionary, and now leads The Gospel Experience choir in the Netherlands. Both appeared on The Gospel Of Jesamy and return here across three of the EP’s four tracks.
Across those four titles the focus stays on “funk-fuelled, high-energy spiritual music” featuring gospel lead lines, choir responses and a band sound built from Arp Frique’s funk and disco background.
Arp Frique & The Perpetual Singers play Mallorca Live in Calvià, Spain on 12 June and Groene Heuvels in Beuningen, Netherlands on 3 July.
