Walthamstow Trades Hall
Monthly reggae disco in North-East London. The night is named after sadly departed MC Earl Anthony Robinson, the voice behind classic deejay tunes such as “Drunken Master”.
Joining us on the decks will be special guests Riketté Genesis and Tara Mallen to spin lovers rock, romantic rocksteady, soulful ska and heartbreak in the echo chamber!
Riketté Genesis, a prominent jazz singer and sound engineer, is making waves in the world of selecting. Hailing from Brixton and deeply influenced by her Rastafarian heritage and mother’s vinyl collection, her reggae style is a captivating blend of 70s classics, rocksteady rhythms, and heavy roots. Her dynamic performances have graced platforms such as Moko, Balamii, Jumbi, The Fox & Firkin, Voices Radio, and G-Shock Radio. Riketté’s roots-inspired selections reflect her rich musical journey, further highlighted on her monthly show on Voices club.
