This EP represents a new chapter in the duo’s innovative exploration of sound, featuring five tracks that blend traditional musical elements with experimental sounds to create a balance between subdued, intimate soundscapes and lively, rhythmic beats.

Archivio Futuro was originally formed in 2021 by Lorenzo BITW, a producer and DJ with a flair for global club music and Danilo Menna, a drummer and multi-instrumentalist experienced across various genres. They were later joined by Vittorio Gervasi, a jazz saxophonist known for his openness to diverse musical explorations, who has been collaborating with the project from its early days.

Operating out of Rome, Archivio Futuro has developed a distinctive style that merges electro-acoustic elements with a cross-media approach, incorporating other art forms such as painting, photography, and video. This approach enhances their musical output, providing a comprehensive artistic experience that goes beyond traditional music boundaries. Their sound is marked by dynamic, psychedelic drumming, eclectic sampling that captures the essence of distant landscapes, and a fusion of house and garage rhythms with jazz and prog-rock elements.
