São Paulo-based collective Coligação Z.E.M. has released a new single titled “Haverá um Dia,” featuring Brazilian reggae band Nazireu Rupestre, vocalist Gabriel Dias, and founder Nobru CZ. Blending hip-hop, reggae, jazz, hardcore, and Afro-Brazilian influences, the track showcases the fusion of genres that is central to the band’s sound.
The song is part of their recently released album Sobressalto, which came out on the 22nd of August. Exploring themes of hope, resilience, and social change, the album stays true to Coligação Z.E.M.’s mission to amplify diverse and underrepresented voices.
The album cover features a photograph by Kailani Galhardo of 87-year-old Maria Gomes Ferreira, known as Dona Maria. The image captures her strength and life experiences, conveying ancestral wisdom and resilience through her powerful presence.
