With over 30 years of experience with Grupo Cupuaçu and Teatro Ventoforte, Ana Maria is deeply influenced by maranhense traditions like Bumba-meu-boi, tambor de crioula, ladainhas, cantigas, brincadeiras, ciranda, and cacuriá. In 2017, she released her debut album, Por Mim e Pelo Meu Povo, showcasing her dedication to preserving and sharing her cultural heritage.
