Hailing from Petit-Bourg, Guadeloupe, Loïc Emboulé is known for his association with traditional Gwo-Ka music as well as his fusion of Gwoka and its derivative rhythms like zouk and Creole ballads with new Caribbean sounds like ka-koustik, a very unique musical style he called “Niiuka”.

In 2020, Emboulé, who is also a skilled guitarist and percussionist, released his latest album Dyalòg with his Niiuka group and many guest artists. The album features 15 dynamic tracks that evolve from gwoka to zouk, Creole ballads, and other Caribbean sounds.
