Another Womex is approaching, and this year, with it being almost in our backyard in Manchester and celebrating its 30th edition, we couldn’t miss the opportunity to further pave the way on our Musical Road to Womex — our yearly section dedicated to the Expo and its line-up in particular.
In the upcoming weeks leading up to the grand opening on the 23rd of October, we invite you to join us on a journey to the North-Western of England.
Throughout this journey, we’ll spotlight a curated selection of the 250+ artists chosen by the 7 Samurai (the Womex jury) who will be performing between the 23rd and 27th of October.
Through their music selections and thoughtful Q&As, we’ll explore traditions from around the world, reflecting the rich variety of genres and styles that have shaped the Worldwide Music Expo over the past 29 years — and will continue to do so this October.
